We are located on the north side of Dodge, between American National Bank and the Comfort Inn hotel. You must be heading west on Dodge to enter our driveway. Parking is located on the north (back) side of the building. We do have two entrances, so please know whether your appointment is on the Main Level or Garden Level. Board-Certified & Experienced Surgeons
J. BRUNETEAU, M.D.
Dr. Bruneteau is a native of Omaha and attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In addition to his general surgery residency at the University of Iowa, he also completed a two-year residency in plastic surgery at the University of California in San Francisco. Dr. Bruneteau completed a fellowship in microvascular surgery at the University of California and a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Bruneteau returned to Omaha in 1990 and has been in practice at ASI since that time.
JOHN J. EDNEY, M.D.
Dr. Edney is a native of Omaha, Nebraska, and graduated from the Creighton University School of Medicine in 1976. He completed his 5-year residency in general surgery at Creighton University and subsequently received his board certification in general surgery. He also completed a one-year fellowship in surgical oncology at Creighton University. Dr. Edney completed his plastic surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh where he remained for an additional fellowship in microvascular surgery. Dr. Edney returned to Omaha in 1983 and has been in private practice since then.
MARIE E. MONTAG, M.D.
Dr. Marie Montag attended medical school and completed her residency in general surgery at Creighton University. She traveled to the University of Wisconsin in Madison to continue her training in plastic surgery. She then studied Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic surgery for an additional year under Dr. Louis Morales in Salt Lake City, Utah.
BRIAN BIGGERSTAFF, M.D.
Dr. Biggerstaff is a Nebraska native, born and raised in Lincoln. He completed his undergraduate degree from Creighton University, with a bachelor of science in physics. He attained his doctorate of medicine degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine in 2012. He completed a five-year residency in general surgery at Creighton University, and then completed his plastic surgery training at the University of California, Irvine in 2020. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon.
