RealSelf bestowed this elite honor to only 100 cosmetic medical professionals in the nation. Those that earn this rare achievement are recognized for being the most influential board-certified aesthetic doctors on social media. Dr. Edney is a native of Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from the Creighton University School of Medicine in 1976. He completed his 5-year residency in general surgery at Creighton University and subsequently received his board certification in general surgery. Dr. Bruneteau is board certified in plastic surgery and general surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He belongs to the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Metro Omaha Medical Society. He has written numerous articles in medical journals regarding plastic surgery. He is currently an assistant professor of plastic surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

This past Sunday, October 6th 2013, Aesthetic Surgical Images’ staff members participated in the Susan G. Komen® Race for the Cure. The annual event helps raise funds to support breast cancer research. The event honors those who have lost their battle with breast cancer while celebrating those who have survived breast cancer. In addition to supporting research, the event also promotes breast cancer awareness, education, and early breast cancer detection.
Komen for the Cure is the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1.9 billion since its inception in 1982.
