Considered One of Omaha's Landmark Buildings
Originally known as Plastic and Reconstructive, P.C., Aesthetic Surgical Images has been incorporated since 1968. In 1991, ASI moved to its current location at 8900 West Dodge Road, previously the home of Frances and Harold J. Lippold, owners of the Kitty Clover Potato Chips Company. The Lippold home was built in 1955, as a three bedroom, one story house with a walk out basement. Mr. Lippold said, “It was built solid with concrete floor joints. The walls are a foot thick and tied together with a concrete beam poured around the top.” The intricate limestone exterior of the house originated from an old ocean bed in Austin, Texas.
Before ASI purchased the Lippold property, it had changed owners and businesses four times. The physicians remodeled the house with exam rooms on both levels to maximize space and allow patients to be seen on either level. The original garage was converted into our state-licensed and nationally accredited surgical facility. A separate heating and cooling system and backup generator were also added for the surgical facility to meet state regulations. The outpatient facility was designed to offer the privacy and comfort of your own home at affordable prices. The first surgical case was performed in the “Surgi-Suite” in March of 1992. Since then, over 11,000 cosmetic and reconstructive patients have successfully been treated in our facility.
