Education
Dr. Marie Montag attended medical school and completed her residency in general surgery at Creighton University. She traveled to the University of Wisconsin in Madison to continue her training in plastic surgery for two years. She then studied Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic surgery for an additional year under Dr. Louis Morales in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Other Accomplishments
Dr. Montag has returned to Omaha after practicing with Heartland Plastic Surgery; there she served as the director of Blank Children's Craniofacial Clinic in Des Moines, Iowa. She happily returned to her hometown in November of 2000, to join the Omaha plastic surgeons at Aesthetic Surgical Images, P.C.

What is the first job you ever held?
I was a beverage girl at Bishop's Buffet. Prior to that, I started babysitting at age 12.
Do you have any pets or a favorite childhood pet?
I have 3 Labrador retrievers (2 black and 1 yellow)
What hobbies/pastimes do you enjoy?
I enjoy gardening, trap shooting and pheasant hunting in my free time.

What made you decide to become a plastic and cosmetic surgeon?
I made the decision to become a plastic and cosmetic surgeon because it's an artistic and creative way to practice medicine. My dad and brother are sculptors.
